A delegation from the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities met with the Directorate of Science, Technology, and Innovation on August 20, 2025, to review draft concept notes for training 1,000 persons with disabilities in digital and entrepreneurial skills. Chairman Brima Abdulia Sheriff welcomed the initiative but cautioned against excluding any disability groups, stressing that true governance requires full inclusion. Both institutions agreed on the need for an MOU to strengthen cooperation and guide implementation.
