Chairman Brima Abdulia Sheriff congratulated the new Auditor General Abdul Aziz Kamara, pledged full cooperation, and advocated for inclusive recruitment that creates fair opportunities for persons with disabilities. He also announced plans to work with HRMO on a national quota system for hiring PWDs.

Auditor General Kamara emphasized that regular audits are essential for public accountability and help institutions secure donor funding. He assured that Audit Services already practices equitable recruitment and employs PWDs. He explained that performance audits now assess efficiency, economy, effectiveness, environment, and equity, reflecting Sierra Leone’s broader commitment to sustainability and social inclusion.
